Founded in 2017, Spindrift Consultancy Services provides specialist consents and environment support for offshore infrastructure projects, both within the UK and internationally.

Director of Spindrift Consultancy Services, Tamsin Watt, is a chartered environmental specialist with over 20 years’ experience in managing projects for coastal and marine developments and with specific experience in marine planning and consents for offshore renewable developments.

Working to support both development and consultancy teams, Tamsin has a detailed understanding of consenting processes and the requirements of environmental legislation both in the UK and internationally. She has supported a number of projects in the development and delivery of consenting strategies, consent applications and supporting environmental information and has supported projects throughout examination and determination stages and into construction.

Pentland Floating Offshore Wind Farm (Highland Wind Limited)
Provision of offshore consents and environmental management services to Highland Wind Limited in the delivery of consent applications and discharge of consent conditions for the Pentland Floating Offshore Wind Farm, one of the first test and demonstrator array projects for floating wind farm technologies.

Seagreen Offshore Wind Far (Seagreen Wind Energy Limited)
Provision of offshore consents support and project management services to support the delivery of the largest offshore wind farm in Scottish waters. Offshore construction for the Seagreen Project was completed in 2023.
